Odoo Implementor

Job Summary

The Odoo Implementor is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Odoo ERP modules based on business needs.

The role involves gathering requirements, designing workflows, configuring modules, training users, and ensuring the successful adoption of the system.

Senior Implementors lead end-to-end implementations, optimize business processes, and provide mentorship and guidance to the team.

Job Responsibilities

Shared Responsibilities (Mid-Level & Senior):

· Analyze client business needs and translate them into Odoo functional workflows.

 · Implement and configure Odoo modules such as Sales, CRM, Accounting, HR, Inventory, and Manufacturing.

 · Customize workflows, forms, and reports based on business requirements.

· Prepare documentation: business process mapping, gap analysis, test scenarios.

· Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve issues.

 · Train end users and ensure smooth system adoption.

 · Provide support and troubleshoot issues related to implemented modules.

 · Collaborate with functional and technical teams for system integration.

· Maintain and upgrade existing Odoo implementations.

Additional Responsibilities (Mid-Level):

 · Configure modules under guidance of senior staff.

· Support implementation tasks within defined project scopes.

 · Assist in documentation, testing, and user training.

· Execute daily functional tasks and issue resolution.

Additional Responsibilities (Senior Level):

· Lead full Odoo implementation projects end-to-end.

· Perform complex gap analysis and design advanced workflows.

 · Optimize business processes and recommend system improvements.

· Oversee UAT, quality checks, and rollout plans.

· Mentor and support junior and mid-level implementors.

 · Communicate with stakeholders and guide them on best practices.

· Ensure consistency and standardization across deployable modules.

Job Requirements

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience

· Mid-Level: 3–5 years in Odoo implementation

· Senior: 5+ years Odoo ERP project experience

Skills (Both Levels):

· Strong understanding of Odoo modules and ERP workflows.

· Ability to convert business needs into functional configurations.

· Knowledge of business process mapping and documentation.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and client-handling abilities.

· Familiarity with Python or XML is a plus.

Additional Expectations for Senior Level:

· Deep expertise in multiple Odoo modules.

· Ability to lead workshops and implementation cycles.

· Strong stakeholder management and project leadership skills.

· Experience training and mentoring junior team members.
