Job Summary
The UI/UX Designer (Mid-Level or Senior) is responsible for designing easy-to-use, visually appealing digital products such as websites, mobile apps, and internal systems.
The role focuses on understanding user needs, creating smooth user journeys, and ensuring consistent design across all platforms.
Senior designers take on larger projects, guide the team, and contribute to product and design strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Shared Responsibilities (Both Mid-Level & Senior):
• Translate business requirements and user research into wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for websites, mobile apps, and enterprise solutions.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of UI elements and design systems.
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and user-centered design across all digital products.
• Analyze user feedback and metrics to improve user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
• Work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure cohesive brand experiences.
Additional Responsibilities for Mid-Level:
• Execute design tasks independently within a project scope defined by senior designers or the Tech Manager.
• Contribute to maintaining the design system and component library.
• Provide creative UI/UX solutions within established frameworks and guidelines.
• Participate in research and testing with guidance when needed.
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Level:
• Lead end-to-end design processes for complex features or full product modules.
• Plan, execute, and analyze UX research and usability studies independently.
• Develop, evolve, and enforce design systems to ensure consistency across products.
• Mentor mid-level and junior designers, providing constructive feedback and design direction.
• Collaborate with leadership, product managers, and engineering to drive product strategy.
• Introduce advanced UX practices, data-driven decision-making, and new design patterns.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Applied Arts, or a related field.
• Mid-Level: 3–5 years in UI/UX
• Senior: 5–8 years in UI/UX
Skills (Mid-Level & Senior):
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design skills and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency in Figma (required), with working knowledge of Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision (optional).
•Understanding of responsive design, design systems, and accessibility standards.
• Experience with user research methods, A/B testing, and prototyping tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus.
Additional Expectations for Senior Level:
• Advanced proficiency in research methodologies and data interpretation.
• Ability to lead design workshops, stakeholder discussions, and strategic planning.
• Strong product thinking and ability to align design with business goals.
• Experience guiding teams and influencing cross-functional decisions.
