Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating requirements into functional specifications for technology and business teams. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and drive organizational value.

Job Responsibilities

· Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.

 · Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows. ·

 Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately.

· Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and identify process improvement opportunities.

· Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with stakeholders.

· Support testing by validating solutions against business requirements.

· Mentor junior business analysts and provide guidance on best practices.

 · Identify risks, issues, and dependencies in projects and provide recommendations.

Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related field.

· 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in technology or software development environments.

 · Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.

· Experience with requirement management and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Visio).

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work across multiple teams.

· Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus.

Preferred Skills: 

· Experience in data analysis, SQL, or BI tools.

 · Exposure to software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT project delivery.

 · Ability to drive process improvement initiatives and change management.
